ELICOS Intermediate English

This course is designed for students with moderate language experience. It builds upon preintermediate studies and aims to improve English proficiency.Some examples of Intermediate skills include understanding complex lines of an argument,
understanding attitudes within writing, participating in fluent and active discussions and
writing a cover letter.
After successfully completing this course, students will be at approximately IELTS 5.0 or
equivalent level. Successfully completing the Intermediate English course at The Bright
College will also allow students to progress to 117779K Upper-Intermediate English at The
Bright College.
This course will be delivered and assessed via classroom delivery, listening, speaking, reading,
and written assessments

IELTS of 5.0 or equivalent if packaging ELICOS with a VET course.
No minimum IELTS Requirement if only studying ELICOS.
