ELICOS Upper-Intermediate English

This course is designed for students with solid language skills. It builds upon intermediate
studies and aims to improve English fluency.
Some examples of Upper-Intermediate skills include understanding implied relationships in
extended speeches, understanding specialized articles, relating skillfully to other speakers and
developing points within writing about complex subjects.
After successfully completing this course, students will be at an approximately IELTS 6.0 or
equivalent level. Successfully completing the Intermediate English course at The Bright
College will also allow students to progress to 097555G Advanced English at The Bright
College.
This course will be delivered and assessed via classroom delivery, listening, speaking, reading,
and written assessments.

IELTS of 5.0 or equivalent if packaging ELICOS with a VET course.
No minimum IELTS Requirement if only studying ELICOS.
